Dr. Shay Herndon graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2020. Her goal with each and every patient is to ensure that they are heard. She finds value in her relationships with patients and desires to circumvent the traditional relationships doctors and patients share by really listening to health concerns.

Additionally, she strives to investigate the root causes in order to achieve optimal health. Dr. Herndon enjoys seeing the entire family and is dedicated to getting to know each patient on a personal level. She believes in the Keystone Care Membership and thinks that it is a viable option for affordability and the incorporation of quality, naturopathic medicine. Direct Primary Care allows her to help patients with acute and chronic diseases by utilizing natural medicine and lifestyle approaches so that they can live healthier lives, in an accessible way. 

She describes herself as extremely compassionate and loves the reward of being a part of people’s health every single day. Seeing a number of health struggles close to her, she understands the value and effectiveness of natural medicine. Overall, she enjoys getting to know the patients, values natural medicine, and seeks to assist patients in gaining control of their health. When she isn’t practicing medicine, she enjoys cooking, reading, and going to concerts. Dr. Herndon also has a passion for hot yoga and is in the studio around 5 days a week!
